Refund Policy
Spectral Engine is sold through Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle owns the actual sale — and the refund — not us; this page explains how that works and what to do.
The short version
Request a refund within 14 days of purchase. We review every request case by case rather than promising an automatic refund on demand — most reasonable requests (didn't work as expected, bought by mistake, etc.) are approved.
How to request one
Email hello@spectralengineaudio.com with the order email and, if you have it, the Paddle receipt/invoice number. Paddle also lists a "Request a refund" option directly on the receipt email they send you — either route reaches us.
What happens to your license
Nothing, technically. Spectral Engine has no phone-home, no activation server, no remote kill switch — a refund doesn't revoke your license key. We're trusting you here the same way we're asking you to trust the plugin; see the licensing answer in the FAQ if you want the full reasoning.
Paddle's own terms
Since Paddle is the merchant of record, their published policy is what actually governs the transaction: Paddle Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Ours above is the practical summary; theirs is the legal one.
